“Historically, only customers with big machines and complicated lifts have used lift planning tools,” said Michael Klein, Terex Cranes manager product marketing. The process only takes a couple of minutes, the makers said. It employs a variety of different methods to determine the right machine for a job. The tool can be accessed from any location and is available in nine different languages, using either imperial or metric units. The tool can be configured to meet specific and individual needs. Terex Liftplan is available free of charge to Terex crane owners and their customers. Terex Cranes is presenting a free online lift planning called Terex Liftplan, designed to speed up and simplify the process of selecting the right crane to perform a configured lift in a safe and efficient way.
